ELECTRONICS TECHNOLOGIES

The Electronic Technology Program provides students with the theoretical and practical foundations of electronics that affect the electronics in every field of business and everyday life.

Purpose of the Program

In the field of Electronic Technology with the Associate Degree in Electronic Technology, it is aimed to train qualified professionals who meet the needs of the sector and who have acquired the necessary professional competencies in accordance with scientific and technological developments.

Electronic Professionals

Following the developments in the profession, applying the schema to the circuit, communicating with the engineers within the scope of their responsibilities, transferring the technical information to the lower level technical staff such as technician and master, can make work organization, know the importance of team work, take risk and responsibility, solve the problem, they can write reports, use equipment, make maintenance repairs and record their own business, small and medium-sized enterprises in the middle and high level managers are able to manage.

Student Resources

Graduates of one of the departments of electronics, electrical, ship electronics, aircraft maintenance technicians, control and automation systems of vocational high schools can apply to the, Electronic Technology ği associate degree program without examination. They can be fitted if they have the required conditions.

If there is a quota for graduates from departments or high schools other than the departments of vocational high schools without examination, they will be able to place programs according to their wishes and OSS scores. In order to do this, they must take the Transition to Higher Education Examination (YGS) by the OSYM and get a yapılan Numeric ğ score.

Training Process

Students with the content of the Electronic Technology Program; the basic principles of electronics, electronic equipment installation, maintenance and repair; measurement tools, computer and industry prepared for the use of current software programs, drawing and drawing electronic circuit diagram with the computer, how to control the industrial machinery with the computer electronically, if necessary, maintenance and repair, technical report to prepare the project, the operating table at the workplace and staff work learn to maintain safety.

Practice Studies and Internship

Electronic Laboratory;

    Experiments are conducted in order to give the logic of PIC microcontroller and to provide programming skills. For simulation of the PIC Microcontroller, it is provided with the proteus software and the compiler MPLAB / Hi-Tech PIC C information. In addition, the use of LED, keypad use. seven segment display riding, stepper motor application, scrolling, LCD, oscillator applications, ADC arıDAC applications, DC motor, serial communication applications are performed.
    Simulation and application skills are provided to the students by using PLC training set.
    Numerical Electronic training sets are used to teach students about logic gates, loggers, counters, flip-flops. In addition, in the logic circuits, minimization and design skills are gained.
    By using Analog Electronic education set, students are given the ability to apply basic electrical, basic electronics and industrial electronic circuits.
    With the Industrial Sensors training set, the working principles of the sensors used in the industry, which sensor is used and how they are connected to the circuit are acquired.
    In Industrial Electronic training sets, practical skills are gained for vocational courses such as Electronics I, Electronic II, Electric Motors and Drivers, Power Electronics, Fault Analysis.

Computer Laboratory;

    Basic computer usage related to Windows 7, M.S. Use of Office 2007, internet browser, e-mail and search engine services to use effectively, report preparation, CV application for job application, petition writing skills are gained.
    Professionally, Proteus Schema, simulation and printed circuit program are used.
    For the Programmable Controllers course, the programming skills of the SIEMENS SIMATIC S-7 200 PLC are provided with Step 7 Mikrowin.
    Microchip MPLAB Asm and C languages and Microcontroller programming skills are gained.
    With Festo Fluidsim, the skills for the design and simulation of hydraulic and pneumatic control systems are gained.

In addition, work place internships and summer practices can be done on-site.

Graduates

The graduates of the Electronic Technology Program are responsible for the electrical and electronic systems and devices in the public or private sector; production, installation, maintenance, repair, especially sales, quality control, purchase, such as the opportunity to work in a very wide area.
Working Areas of Graduates
